Electrical Warrant of Fitness

Electrical Warrant Of Fitness (EWOF) expires every four years. EWOF expire every FOUR years, and TT expire ANNUALLY. We have an exceptional EWOF inspector that inspects your boat to comply with new rules and regulations.

Test & Tag

Attended Power Connection (APC) is for when your vessel does not have an EWOF,and you simply want to connect to the pedestal while you are aboard.

Electrical Warrant of Fitness

Unattended Power Connection (UPC)

Is where your boat has an Electrical Warrant Of Fitness (EWOF) and the lead you connect to your pedestal is Tag Tested (TT). EWOF expire every FOUR years, and TT expire ANNUALLY. We will provide you with an Electrical Warrant of Fitness for your boat as we have an exceptional EWOF inspector that inspects your boat to comply with the new rules and regulations.

Electrical Warrant of Fitness Process

Inspection of Boat

We attend the boat and inspect for ourselves first what work may or may not be needed for the inspector to issue an EWOF.

Organise an inspector

If we suspect some work is to be done to the boat, we organise our highly recommended inspector to first view the boat then issue a defect sheet, this sheet includes all of the necessary work that needs to be completed before EWOF is able to be issued.

Carrying out jobs on the defect sheet.

Relying on the customer's OK we then carry out all the jobs on the defect sheet.

Issues the Electrical Warrant of Fitness

Our inspector is then able to issues the Electrical Warrant of Fitness for the boat.

Attended Power Connection (APC)

To have an attended power connection you must have a valid TT (Tag Tested) on your Ebox, and you must remain onboard for the time you are plugged in.

Is for when your vessel does not have an EWOF, and you simply want to connect to the pedestal occasionally while you are onboard the vessel.

Bring your Ebox or shore power cable in to our shop upon annual expiry or if you can’t seem to find the time, you can arrange with our team for one of our capable electricians to attend your boat and carry out the test and tag process.

If for any reason you need a new shore power cable, we can also construct a brand-new one at your chosen length that will meet the marina requirement standards.
